Meet the Women Behind Ivory

Ivory is led by two women, Sue the Founder and Nastien, senior stylist and manageress. They believe that bridal is not just about fashion — it’s about feeling.

Together, we bring a balance of intuition, experience, and a deep understanding of what this season in a bride’s life truly means.

“What does a bride feel when she walks into Ivory?”

Sue:
“I want her to feel like she can exhale. Brides often arrive carrying so much expectations, opinions, timelines… and I love watching that slowly fall away. This becomes her space.”

Nastien:
“There’s a softness to it. It’s calm, it’s warm, and it’s intentional. We’re not rushing her or pushing her — we’re meeting her exactly where she is.”

“Is it just about finding the dress?”

Sue:
“Never. The dress is important, of course but what matters more is how she feels in it. That moment when something shifts… you can see it instantly.”

Nastien:
“It’s the emotion behind it. Sometimes it’s quiet, sometimes it’s overwhelming… but it’s always real. And we’re there for all of it.”

“What makes the Ivory experience different?”

Sue:
“We take our time. That’s something brides don’t always expect at first. But luxury, to me, is having the space to make the right decision without pressure.”

Nastien:
“And we truly listen. Every bride is different, and there’s no ‘one way’ to do this. We tailor the experience around her, her style, her personality, her vision.”

“What is your favourite part of the appointment?”

Sue:
“That exact moment when she knows. She doesn’t always say it immediately… but you can see it. It’s written all over her.”

Nastien:
“And then the shift in the room — everything softens, and it becomes emotional. Those are the moments that stay with you.”

“If you could tell every bride one thing before her appointment?”

Sue:
“Come with an open heart. Try not to overthink it, your dress often finds you when you least expect it.”

Nastien:
“And trust the process. You don’t need to have it all figured out before you arrive… that’s what we’re here for.”
